Into Spring

Well March is here and it’s still cold but we know spring is coming! We are still having our Wine and hors d’oeuvre’s on Saturdays from 4-6pm. We love interacting with our guests for this casual get together. I am trying some new and fun hors d’oeuvres. St. Patrick’s Day is coming and for that weekend we will have a special afternoon buffet featuring Mike’s homemade corned beef for Reuben Sliders on my homemade rolls and Irish based sides. We have the fresh brisket curing in the fridge and I have to turn it every day
Next week we are renovating the Patty’s Garden bathroom to put in a 2 person shower to replace the claw foot tub, the shower will have an easy access step in. I am also replacing the carpet in that room with wood flooring.
We are looking forward to the awakening of our flowers when the crocuses and daffodils poke they’re heads up. That is always the first signal that spring is finally here.
